Nicholas Fu
Founder & ChairmanNicholas Fu is a senior entrepreneur, strategic advisor, and ecosystem builder based in Edmonton, Alberta. With over a decade of experience in marketing, business development, and cross-sector collaboration, he has built strong working relationships with government officials, corporate leaders, and international partners across Canada and beyond. Nicholas is the Founder of Explorer Group Canada, a leading multi-city media and business engagement platform, and has played a key role in connecting enterprises with public-sector stakeholders, investment opportunities, and multicultural markets across North America.
As Chairman of the Alberta Young Entrepreneurs Association (AYEA), Nicholas focuses on building a high-level platform that mobilizes shared resources, accelerates emerging entrepreneurs, and facilitates collaboration across Canada and North America. Known for his ability to bridge communities, industries, and institutions, he is committed to driving long-term economic impact through partnership, leadership, and strategic execution.
Steven Young
PresidentSteven Young is an experienced management and operations leader with a strong track record in strategy execution, project delivery, and organizational transformation. With expertise spanning operations management, risk management, and change leadership, Steven is known for turning complex challenges into focused, practical strategies that drive measurable results.
He currently serves as President of the Alberta Young Entrepreneurs Association (AYEA), where he supports the organization's mission by strengthening operational excellence, advancing strategic initiatives, and building scalable frameworks for entrepreneur development across Canada and North America. Steven also serves as Chair of the Alberta Centre of Excellence for IoT & Emerging Technologies, helping position Alberta as a global leader in IoT innovation.
